Details

Petunia 'Cascadias Passion' provides a profusion of velvety, dark burgundy flowers with a blackish throat summer through fall. Irresistible to butterflies and hummingbirds. Splendid in hanging baskets, containers, or in beds. Benefits from time-release fertilizer mixed into soil before planting. Fertilize often for best summer performance.

Growing Tips

If you have problems with budworms (you will first see holes in the blooms and buds, and about a week later, all the blooms are gone) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and we have seen excellent results. Treat as soon as you see any holes in the flowers or buds. Usually a treatment lasts about 6 weeks or more, depending on the year. We carry this fantastic product at our Kaw Valley Garden Centers.
