Home / Our Plants / Dipladenia
Details
Mandevilla belongs to a large family that also includes plants known as Dipladenia. It was named after a British diplomat/gardener Henry Mandeville. This exotic plant bears trumpet shaped flowers shades of pink, yellow, red and white (some fragrant) on twining vines with puckered, oval leaves. Loves to climb on trellises and is very heat tolerant.
Growing Tips
An important "how to" in mandavilla care is to use a well drained soil as these plants can be very sensitive to over watering. Allow plants to dry between waterings. When you water, make sure you water thoroughly.
