Petunia hybrida 'Night Sky'
Home / Our Plants / Petunia, Spreading Petunia
Details
The launch of Petunia 'Night Sky' marks a breeding breakthrough. No other Petunia can boast the starry speckled pattern of this unique bloom. White speckles against a deep purple-blue backing recreate a clear night sky. You'll get lost gazing at the myriad of patterns - each flower is totally unique. We hope this variety does well in our test garden this coming summer so we can offer more of it next year! We want to warn you, as the breeder warned us, it may not hold it's spectacular white speckled pattern.
Growing Tips
If you have problems with budworms (blooms and buds getting chewed away) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and if used once a week starting mid-June it should take care of these dastardly pests that have invaded most of the Midwest. We carry this fantastic product at our Kaw Valley Garden Centers in ready-to-use spray bottles.
