Foeniculum vulgare purpureum 'Bronze Fennel' has beautiful soft fronds that are bronze toned and resemble giant fuzzy catapillars when they emerge. The leaves can be used in cooking and are especially suited for flavoring fish. This fennel does not form a bulb.
