The pleasantly scented, double black-maroon flowers of Dianthus caryophyllus 'King of Blacks' are an old-time favorite for any garden! Blue-green, grasslike foliage forms a dense mound. Wonderful in rock or border gardens. Carnations are exceptional as a cut flower for early summer arrangements.
