Details

Petchoa petunia x calibrachoa 'SuperCal Velvet' has luxurious magenta-purple flowers. A cross between a Petunia and Calibrachoa, the Petchoa 'Supercal' series combines the best characteristics of each. Taking the large flowers and less ph-sensitivity of petunias (which causes calibrachoas to turn yellow in regular topsoil) and the flower power of calibrachoas, the SuperCals provide amazing color throughout the summer and fall . Supercal cultivars are very early flowering and heat tolerant with awesome flower power!

Growing Tips

If you have problems with budworms (blooms and buds getting chewed away) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and we have seen excellent results. We carry this fantastic product at our Kaw Valley Garden Centers.
