Petunia hybrida 'Dekko Red' (formerly known as Whisper Red) is the best red petunia on the market for holding it's color in the heat throughout the summer. Creates a cascade of vibrant color. Petunias are very heat tolerant and are ideal for beds, baskets, window boxes, and mixed containers. Spreading Petunias are self-cleaning, no deadheading necessary.

Growing Tips

If you have problems with budworms (blooms and buds getting chewed away) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and if used once a week starting mid-June it should take care of these dastardly pests that have invaded most of the Midwest. We carry this fantastic product at our Kaw Valley Garden Centers in ready-to-use spray bottles.
