Details
Petunia x hybrida 'Wave Carmine Velour' is an outstanding new introduction to the 'Wave' series, and a 2019 AAS Winner for exceptional performance. It has a very vigorous habit similar to the original 'Purple Wave'. Produce masses of brilliant carmine rose 2 1/2" flowers. Blooms all season. Fertilize often for best performance. Self-cleaning, no deadheading necessary.
Growing Tips
If you have problems with budworms (blooms and buds getting chewed away) we recommend Captain Jack's Deadbug Brew. It's safe enough to be used for organic growing, and if used once a week starting mid-June it should take care of these dastardly pests that have invaded most of the Midwest. We carry this fantastic product at our Kaw Valley Garden Centers in ready-to-use spray bottles.
